Delete your account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Your recovery is yours — and so is the decision to leave.

How to delete your account

Send an email from the address associated with your account. We'll confirm the deletion and process it within 30 days.

In the app

Open Sober Coach and go to Profile → Delete Account. The app asks you to confirm twice before permanently removing your account and recovery data.

Active billing is canceled before the account is removed.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, all of the following is permanently removed from our systems. There is no way to recover this data after deletion is complete.

Account information Your name, email address, and login credentials.
Sobriety history Your sobriety date, milestones, step work progress, and recovery profile.
Check-ins All daily check-in entries, mood records, journal notes, and gratitude logs.
Chat messages Your complete conversation history with Coach.
Supporter connections All linked supporters and their associated sharing permissions and digest history.

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you're uncertain, you can pause your subscription without deleting your account — email us and we can help.

Timeline and confirmation

After you submit a deletion request by email, we'll send a confirmation within one business day. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of that confirmation.

If you have an active subscription, it will be canceled as part of the deletion process. You won't be charged again after the deletion is confirmed.
